Attorney Ellen E. Turnage graduated from Mississippi State University. She received her Juris Doctorate at the University of San Diego School of Law in 1995 where she was a member of the U.S. Appellate Moot Court Board. Following her graduation, she joined an Orange County firm that specializes in labor and employment law as well as unfair business practices law. As a result of her experience with unfair business practices law, Ms. Turnage became interested in consumer law and for the past three years has spent her career representing consumers. She has tried several bench and jury trials. Ms. Turnage has lectured at Lorman seminars and authored materials concerning state and federal wage and hour laws. She has served on the Boards of Directors for United Cerebral Palsy, the Poway Performing Arts Center and the San Diego Youth Symphony. She is a member of the California Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the San Diego Bar Association Lawyers' Club and several national and local consumer protection organizations.
